How do I prevent Anonymous Caller from ringing me on my landline?

Report it as a nuisance to your telephone company

simms is right, if you call your telephone company, you can ask them to block all anonymous calls to your phone. I think you may have to punch in a code to activate this service, i know that is the case with NTL.

we had this fascility from Telewest, just call and ask your telephone company to activate. The only problem is, it that it also prevents company/hospital calls etc that use a switchboard where the number is unavailable rather than withheld

An alternative is to change your phone number altogether and sign up to the "X" directory so that anonymous callers have no way of knowing your number. Worked for me!
