Has anyone had, or know of anyone who has had a laser eye operation for prebysopia, the age-related inability to focus properly? I have never needed glasses until about 3 years ago, when I reached 50, but my eyes seem to be getting worse by the day. Only needed them at first for reading, but now find I can't focus on things far away either. Fed up of losing glasses so wondered whether there are any operations available, and if so, do they work?

I am happy to be corrected, but I don't think you can cure persbyopia with surgery.

I think it is only short and long sight the can treat this way
I think PB is right but check with a specialist opthalmologist.
