Im keeping my fingers crossed for a nice weekend but its looking unlikely, and im going to have to break the news to little CRX that he wont be seeing Thomas the Tank engine tomorrow :( and perhaps even missing out on the trip to the dinosaur park on sunday. These are the only 2 days we can see friends and relatives and celebrate his birthday.

does anyone know of any great days out for littles ones in the Cambs / Essex / Norfolk / Suffolk area?

there will be 2 groups, one consisting of adults and adults who act like kids (hello 4get) and the other with and 9yo, 7yo, two 2ys and 2 babys.

anyone got any ideas? The local playcentre has been done to death and i want to take him somewhere new

Have a look here red http://www.dayoutwiththekids.co.uk/search.php? county=Suffolk

I'd recommend the pottery painting parties - adults and kids alike have great fun and you get a lovely permanent reminder of your day. My sister has a huge fruit bowl with all my nieces and nephews handprints on it and it's lovely (and useful).
Is it wrong to find Bowie completely sexy in this film??????

Sorry Red. Not helping your weekend problem! Im still thinking! x
not at all andrea oh and darkmaj he is 3 so not allowed to go ape :-) But I have been and its brilliant isnt it
No andrea, I was completely mesmerised by him as a youngster watching that film, that changed to lust when I hit puberty LOL.

If I was Sarah, I'd be ditching Toby for Jared in a heartbeat LOL
Well if the weathers nasty and you can't go see Thomas (at clone valley by any chance?) then depending on age really but other my way you've got

go banana's
leisure word
rollerworld

yep thats the one chuck, are you over this way too?

where are go bananas and leisure world?

and andrea of course its not wrong, hes so sexy in the film!!!!
Question Author
that go bananas looks great and would certainly tire them out!

But it says that 2-4 year olds are only allowed in the main bit during the week and are stuck in just the tiny town at weekends, which to me looks a bit young for our toddlers.

Have put it on my faves list though for future, thank you
Go bananas and leisure world are pretty much opposite each other on cowdray avenue in colchester.

and I'm colchester now but grandparents were from Hedingham so know the area well...

and I have never ever been out to memories for the night... honest... well maybe once but don't tell anyone :)

I can go in the rest though
hi red are you anywhere near southend on sea cause they have kids kingdom that is graet for the little ones.
have you tried the shire horse centre in norfolk. it is a childrens farm but has areas that are all indoors for the wet weather days. the children can buy food to feed the animals and i believe they have certain times in the day where they can hold the small animals, rabbits gerbils etc
Question Author
ive only been to hedingham once to watch the jousting at castle.

Ive not lived in the area long ( 3 years) but i have heard of memories lol
Question Author
thanks ER but i dont fancy taking the baby near horses, or is it just cos i dont like them lol
I dont like them either
hope you have found somewhere nice to take the little one and the weather is nice where you are cause it is pouring down in birmingham x have a good day
