I am starting to worry about a very good friend of mine. He is only 25. He graduated about 3 years ago; he has a degree in software engineering from a good university.

He had a couple of odd jobs & then went to australia for a year. Then he came back and just drifts from one not very good temp job to another.

He did start trying to get his career back on track but had a bad experience (he went through a 6 month recruitment scheme, was offered the job, then on his 2nd day at work told it was a mistake & he would have to leave!). This has dented his confidence.

He is highly intelligent but is just wasting away. What can i do to try and motivate him?????

It's a big scary world out there isn't it ?

You have got to let your friend live his own life.

Not everyone wants a secure job with good pay.

He has a brain, his proved that, so when he is ready I am sure he will use it again...

Don't worry.
