Evening all... simple enough question... any suggestions of something fun to do on a second date in London... bearing in mind it is a "school night" and not expensive?

Grab a hotdog and go for a walk by the river at night.

London Eye is always a good one. Think I will give that a go... sunset it at 9.20 so if we get the 9pm the sun will be going down whilst we up there and then the lights coming on around london.

The dungeon also sounds fun but isn't open that late lol

A hot dog and walk along the Thames?!
Seriously, it's nice. You can grab a hotdog or something at Leciester Square and then just go for a walk along the thames and chat and laugh. I had a really good time doing that one night, we ended up buying a bottle of red and a couple of plastic cups and just sitting on the wall, looking at the water and chatting. It was a good night.

I agree, it is very nice and will be something we will do often... but we want to do something fun, exciting, different tomorrow :o)
I'm resisting the urge to be smutty regarding fun, exciting and different. Have you been to the aquarium? That's pretty cool. One of the sharks there had a run in with another and he's got a bit missing on his fin and the eels still make me a little nervous.
Question Author
smutty? I am an English gent... I live for smut lol I was thinking of taking her up the Oxo Tower ;o)
I hear it's a very nice place!
Question Author
Very nice, though the parking can be a bit tight

I've drawn the line! I'd go the aquarium if it was me and then wine by the Thames but then I like fish and the water (and wine).

Not so fun for a second date, I think. Something light hearted is usually best.
I am not sure "oh, it is a half eaten shark... you are so romantic" is going to get me many brownie points lol
Matsuri's is nice, lots of entertainment and I'd find it fun for a date, not so much intimate and cosy but it'd be a fun night.

You could always go to a champagne bar first or go a nice glass of wine pre or post dinner somewhere over looking the Thames all lit up at night.
You're just not telling the story right then! Although I would agree my own ideas of romance are a little skew whiff. May be best to go with Jenna's ideas!
I think your ideas sound great! I'd personally love em but depends on the lady I spose.

Oh and ps about Matsuri's, the teppanyaki bit is the fun bit (where they make all the food in front of you with lots of throwing of knifes and such) and I can highly recommend the flaming icecream if they still do it (they set fire to it and it's fab!).
