I stubbed my toe last night and its still sore this

morning, any ideas what i can do to make it stop throbbing?

Ice bath. Ice cubes in cold water in a bowl and insert foot. After 2/3 minutes you will not feel a thing below the knee.

Make yourself a stack of pancakes and maple syrup, that will take your mind off it :) x

Shut your hand in a drawer.
The toe will become irrelevant and wont hurt atall.

I tried an ice pack on it before i went out last night and it seemed to help and i think in the end the alcohol made it feel better but now its worn off this morning it started throbbing again! : (

You did it last night?

If it's still throbbing the next day then I suspect you've maybe broken it, is it your pinky toe?

If you have, then the hospital won't do anything, strap it to the next toe along and get some painkillers xx

You may have staved your toe and I know that is painful, keep up with the icepacks and keep your foot elevated, if it is still sore tomorrow then you should pop over to your doctors surgery.

Its my big toe Lakitu : ( and yes H i think i've definitely staved it, i can see the bruising coming out now (ouch)

Sorry to be bearer of bad news but you normally lose your nail if it is a really bad stub. I did this and the nail turned black and then fell off but a nice new nail grows underneath first. Doesn't hurt for long tho.
