Could AB please stop that awful flashing advert for Party Casino? It drives me nuts when I'm on the computer and I'm sure that any ABers who suffer from migraine or epilepsy would be glad to see it go, too. (Leave the ad, if you must, but for Heaven's sake, stop the damn thing flashing!!)

I block ads like that with Firefox (and have just done the casino one) but next time I look there'll be a different ad there, just as annoying. Is there some way of turning off all ads, dabees? And is there some way of turning off the ones that run with Flash and things like that? Right-clicking on them doesn't seem to give a 'block this ad' option.
PS I mean I blocked the one at the top of the page. The one at the side is one of the Flashplayer ones and I can't get rid of it. Any ideas, anyone?

I already had firefox, I have loaded on the ABP blocker - but I still have the flashing ads - do you know what I have done wrong?
ruby, what I find is you have to right-click on each individual ad; it then gives you a 'block this ad' option that you can use. But for me it doesn't work on a lot of these epileptic flashing ads.
I don't quite understand where these party casino ads are coming from, I don't get them on either of my laptops even with adblock turned off.

Do you have anti spyware software installed as well (such as adaware as that will stop a lot of popups and unwanted ads appearing

i find just hitting escape works

no big deal

ddi this ehlp?
just realsied that ive been egtting emails from party casino.
Has ab been passing on our email addys to them so we get5 junk mail blitzed?

Without telling us?
emails? Blimey, I don't get anything like that. Just the ads on my screen. I used to have ad-aware and you could make it stop popups, but not the regular flashing and scrolling ads on the page.
That is a lot better - they are blocked.

Thanks for the technological assistance.
Spoke to soon - they have all come back!!!!

I've got anti spyware & pop-up blocks on my anti-virus security system, but they're still there on AB. Honestly, it's driving me nuts (although many would say I'm nuts anyawy, but this is getting worse!!). I'm really thinking about quitting AB till all this stops. K
