I read an answer to a different question about whether someone should sell or rent their house. The answer was do neither but consider putting the property into Trust and then registering it as a charity. Does anyone know how to do this, pro's and con's. Any useful sites that I could read up on this. If you do this what happens if you sell or want to rent, etc, etc. Any info that anyone can offer will be appreciated. I am based in the UK so only relevant information relating to the UK please. Thanks for any assistance. Regards

thanks for the one answer so far. However it does not answer how you put a property into trust - can anyone help with this. Once the property is in trust how or why would you register it as a charity. Many thanks for any responses.
