I am so angry it hurts! Does anybody know of compensatory measures I can take from Secure Mail Services, a private postal firm who makes appointments with you (no specific time except 9am-5pm) and consistently fails to appear. They've done this to me so many times I've had enough. They normally deliver for credit card companies and Banks and can't even give you a morning or afternoon appointment , just a day so you're hanging around all day at home and they don't show, so you lose a day's wages (I'm self-employed).
I don't want to know about Citizens advice etc. I want monetary compensation and if you can help without the usual facetious remarks, I'd be grateful.

The organisation that regulates Royal mail - and in my opinion is key to the decline of that service with it's unworkable ideas - is also responsible for the private companies.

You should be aware that these firms cherry pick, and are under no obligation to deliver items as such. In fact Royal Mail HAVE to deliver most stuff for private mail firms.
