Any suggestions for the tastiest, cheapest meal that can be cooked causing the least amount of washing up.

Before anyone asks I'm not a student just overworked and underpaid and lazy!

i have to say the new steam fresh meals from birdseye are amazing you just bang them in the micro and have with a baked potato there you go extremely tasty rather filling and not alot of work .
A big bowl of spaghetti into which you've tossed the zest of a lemon, a tablespoon of olive oil, some chopped parsley, and a drained tin of tuna, can't be beaten for speed, price or flavour!  You can change the parsley for basil or other herbs.  Great comfort food!
oven fish and oven chips
Pot Noodle (any flavour) on toast...
Small amount of pasta, fry off some chopped up bacon, sliced mushrooms & garlic in a wok while the pasta is cooking, add a tin of tomatoes, some tomatoe puree, dash of Worcester sauce, chilli powder, some basil / oregano, fresh or dried (or any spice you want really.)  Cook the pasta in a pan of salted water & then add to the sauce - easy, only takes about 10 minutes, and a saucepan & a wok are all that's needed. Oh, and a chopping board!  (Don't forget to season the sauce with a little salt & pepper).  Tasty, & also quite low fat.  I make this for myself quite often as it's so quick, and if cutting down the calories, i leave out the bacon & add loads of mushrooms.  Hope this is of use to you  XX :)
Sorry, forgot to tell you to also fry a chopped onion (or half) when you fry the garlic, e.t.c!!!  XX
Stir fry.  One wok, one spatula, one fork and one plate shouldn't require too much Fairy Liquid!  Unless you want to be especially lazy and eat it straight from the wok!
boil a pan of pasta ,drain then add a can of condensed soup(i like chicken) any flavour will do ,a can of sweetcorn a few black olives and some grated cheese ,no need to reheat as the heat from the pasta warms everything through.this probably takes the same length of time to cook as it does to prepare a pot noodle but is a lot tastier ,it keeps well in the fridge too so you can have some the next day reheated in the microwave and that is even less washing up
