hi all,
was just sitting at my desk around 40mins ago, had a stretch and snapped my head forward a bit too quickly. felt/heard a pop on the left-hand side of my neck and now i can't move it at all. my vision went a little strange and i felt a bit faint to begin with, but have now returned more or less to normal. my hands feel a bit weak, but the main issue is my neck. i cant tilt it around a centimetre to the left and then it's agony!
anyone have any idea what i may have done to it, and how to relieve the pain?
thanks.

Hi Jem bob; Did the exact same myself once ; Get some t/tree oil and rub a couple of times for the next few days;
Also move neck as far as possible to the opposite side
and then back to the where u have pulled muscle and do that a few times each day ; all ican say is it will come right but take 3-4 days ; really really painfull but you will make a full recovery; good luck
Hello chick, yes roisin is right. I did the same thing too about ten years ago .... frightening really when you hear the crack or pop. Boy did it hurt, I couldn't move my head for three days. Doc gave me painkillers and told me to go home and rest. The pain eased after 48hrs and neck was back to normal within a week. I guess you have pulled a muscle or ligament, but the trauma is only temporary. Take Care. x
