As one door closes, another one opens.

There's also the cynical version of Jansy's suggestion above...As one door closes another one slams in your face.

How about...'Keep the wolf from the door'...and 'Shutting the stable door after the horse has bolted'?

How 'bout "don't let the door knob hit you in the butt on the way out"?

If I leave a door open and some says in a facetiuos manner "Were you born in a barn"?

I say "No, a hospital with swing doors"!

When God closes a door, He opens a window.  (Same meaning as Jansy's answer.)

"The barn door's open". A discreet way of alerting someone to the fact their flies are undone.
