Does anyone know where the scene towards the end of Gregory's Girl which features a large clock was filmed?

It was in an area outwith the Glasgow boundaries called Cumbernauld - there is a huge clock in the shopping centre - my friend grew up there and her elder sister was an extra in the film as she was at Cumbernauld high when they were filming the school scenes - most of the scenes were filmed around Cumbernauld

A bit of trivia,   That clock was once situated in Glasgow's St Enoch railway station. (closed 1966)
