Blue/green painting with a yellow(ish) figure which looked out of focus?

I'm trying to track down a painting or the artist. I saw an exhibition in the late 90's (I think) with a painting I really liked. I thought it was at the sensation show, but maybe I'm not so sure as I don't think it was so shocking! From what I can remember it was blue or green, looked slightly out of focus with a yellow figure (looked like some sort of toy? Or alien?) Very unusual. Think it looked like an out of focus photograph. Anyone know who it may be? Or what the painting was?

Could it have been Gary Hume? I don't know the exact painting, but I know he exhibited at Sensation and it sounds like it might be one of his. Try searching under his name in images.
