Can anyone recommend a good grooming comb for a long haired cat, Molly's hair is so long, the normal ones don't seem to do the job. Our vet said we should get one with a blade?!

What you need is a ' slicker ' brush.
That's true.
Are you giving the rest of us the brush OFF, hun????
Sorry for that, Cheekystar! x
Excuse me while i stick my tongue out at Icey,cheecky.....
Wel!!!!! 35 minutes it's been..........
Sorry to disagree....but I find a slicker brush doesn't work on my Ragdoll cat! We use a metal comb and lots of time and patience on him....other wise you'll miss any fur that has matted at the base and end up having to shave her.

Thanks, she's a rescue cat and only likes fuss on her terms, I'll try and get one of those brushes that was recomended.
A lot of people swear by the Furminator. I've got one and it does get loads of undercoat out, handfuls of it.

If you buy it from the above link, you can try it out and if you don't like it, or more importantly, Molly doesn't like it you can return it.
