Now that final of "Britain's got talent" has been won, do you agree with the results?

What do you think the first three should have been?

Do you think that there should be a separate competition for under 16s say?

My choice

1 Escala
2 Gin the dog with Kate
3 The Cheeky Monkeys

1) Faryl Smith
2) George Sampson
3) Signature

I'm probably going to get grief for saying this but why was Madonna Decana allowed participate? Is she British or Filipino?
I would have been happy to see George, Andrew ( young one) or Gin and Kate. ( I gave each one 1 vote!!)

People are complaining about George winning, but I think he is a great example to the kids of today. He comes from a family who struggle for money, yet instead of hanging around street corners in a gang weiding a gun or knife, he got off his ass and tried to better himself, I think he is a star.

I think he deserved to win on sheer determination forgetting he was extremely talented.

The cheeky monkeys were good, but just not as good as the others. Escala - people say they are new and innovative but Vanessa Mae and others have already done the electric violin sound.
I wouldn't change the winner, I thought it was flipping brill!

I hate sob stories and get put off when they have to rely on it!

But Escala should have been in top 3 along with Faryl me thinks!
I was quite shocked by the result although not dissappointed. I thought either of the young singers or Escala would have won it.

My choices were:

1) Signature
2) Gin and Kate
3) George Sampson
What a travesty? Has no one had any thought of talent that will last and be appreciated further afield than their own back yard?

The winner certainly showed stamina and admirable determination, but how long can that last as a popular talent in the entertainment business?

In my opinion the first three should have been

1 Escala
2 Faryl Smith
3 Andrew Muir
For tenacity George deserved to win!,Faral whatever her name is, who gives there kids these names?looked like a eighteen year old in a twelve year old body and a voice of a 25 year old!Signature were ok!
I didn't mind who won as long as it WASN'T Andrew. I can't stand this "Boo Hoo, I was bullied, vote for me and it will never happen again. Oh dear, look at this footage of me walking in the rain with no coat, if you vote for me my mum can buy me one" ahhhhh!!! It makes me so mad! Yes he is extremely talented and bullying is dreadful, but quit with the sob story! ( Needless to say he didn't get my sympathy vote!) Rant over. Thankyou.
have to say i was thinking the same thing tigger, it was called Britains got talent after all.

my choices would have been.

1) Signature
2) Faryl Smith
3) Escala
I thought Escala were going to win, as this is an act that could perform anywhere and I think the Royal Family would have enjoyed seeing them at the RCP.They showed they can not only play classical music but other types of music too.
What a shame the singing plumber was given this song to sing.I would have liked to have seen more of him in the future.
There should definately be a separate contest for the under 16's, they could call it 'Britain's got young talent'
Acts like Signature,George Sampson and Striker ?? are the type of acts that once you have seen them, that's it.
The winner was ok but once you''ve seen the act that's it - it's just different music next time.
Gin was the one for me, Escala, and Faryl Smith.
i just saw the result show so know who won, but what i want to know is what was the song that the plumber sang that everyone thinks was wrong for him.
John Lennon's Imagine.
Wow Madaboutcats- you must be the only person alive who doesn't know that the song he sang was John Lennon''s Imagine.
i hadnt been following it religiously since it started so wasnt too bothered about the performances though should have been as the choir boy is from my old stomping ground, i have this funny feeling that he'll be appearing in the local paper in a few weeks time saying he's being bullied again for being on the telly......watch this space.
how the hell did George win...he was crap

shud have been

1 Faryl
2 Escala (tho if they had repeated the semi song they shud have won)
3 Signiture
No disrespect to the late great John Lennon, but Imagine is one of those songs that's been done to death in karaoke pubs and imho definitely not a good choice when competing in the finals of BGT.

However, getting back to the original poster's question - Yes, I was pleased when George Sampson won (even though I thought Escala were going to win). I admire George's sheer determination and the fact that he wasn't put off when he didn't reach the finals last year. Hopefully this will serve as an inspiration to others.

No, I don't think there should be a separate show for under-16s, I like things the way they are.

My choice would have been:

1. Signature (the most entertaining act in my opinion and very different)

2/3 Gin the Dog and Escala (really can't make my mind up on the order here.
I think I would prefer to have two shows, one for 16 and under and one for 17 plus. Fairer, in my opinion and no chance of anyone winning because they have the 'ah how sweet' factor.
