Does any body live in a totally digital area? Our freeview service is appalling (We are not allowed Sky) and we quite often have to watch programmes on terestial (sp?) to have any idea what is going on!!

What happens when the switch is made? Does the service improve or is it a case of just get on with it???

It's probably worth getting your aerial upgraded and/or another freeview set top box. I have to say I am not that impressed as even with a new aerial I still get complete break in sound from time to time.

Not my place so getting the aerial fixed is not an option!

we have 3 tv's in the house, the main tv in the lounge has built in freeview and that is the worst! We have tried an external box but the same result!!

The one in my room loses signal on certain channels, all of the channel 4 & ITV channels! Very frustrating!!!!!!!!
Sweetie try an aerial booster - you can find them in diy stores. My Aerial is over 40 years old, in the loft, but it does the job OK.
