I have a large clump of blue flag iris which flowered every year until last year, I thought then maybe it was because of the weather as we had an awful lot of rain, this year there are no flowers again, the clump is very healthy with large, strong leaves, but just not producing flowers, hope some of you gardeners out there can help.

I wonder if the clump might be better if split up into smaller plants, discarding some of the older root. A good feed of potash in the autumn could give you the flowers again. Usually I cut back the leaves in October as they start to get tatty. Hope you soon get your flowers back they are beautiful plants!

Thank you, I have given them Miracle Grow and even that didn't work so will try splitting and potashing them in the autumn, thanks again.
