I planted 2 apple trees last October: a Cox's Orange and a James Grieve. The James Grieve blossomed and is now full of tiny apples whereas the Cox's has no blossom at all. It looks really healthy with lots of leaf but not a sign of any blossom. Anyone any ideas?

Could have been the root disturbance when planting, or a frost at just the wrong time - occasionally a tree will just not flower one year, for no obvious reason. I'm sure it will be OK next year.
neither of my apple trees have blossomed this year, must be having a rest.
I think that your Cox apple is just taking a little longer to establish than your James Grieve. At the end of September give them both a good feed of potash. This will encourage fruiting next year. I also repeat this feed at the beginning of March. I reckon this time next year you will be looking forward to fruit from both trees1
