77) 1883 ? . . . . just a suggestion Headley, not sure about the reference to 'shells and rocks' but when Krakatoa erupted the force was equivalent to 13,000 atom bombs!

"The eruption at Krakatoa created a giant tsunami that swept across the narrow Sunda Strait between the Indonesian islands of Java and Sumatra. Here, the wave lifted coral boulders weighing 600 tonnes from the seabed and deposited them on the shore. It also devastated the coastal population, killing 36 000 people."
