Invited to a wedding in Southern Italy...

Any man want to be my pretend date??
I got a phone call 2 days ago from a very good friend I had when I was 17. I used to go to hers in Napolis for about 3 years every summer...Pen pal, if you like!
And now she got my number, called me, and invited me to her wedding in October!!! I can't believe it still. :O)
Anyway...I know how it is down there in Italy, and if I turn up by myself, her cousins will be all over me cos I'm single, to "protect" me, you know? And worse if I start drinking!
My two male mates have already said no on account of finances. What the hell am I gonna do? lol
