I must admit Whiskeysheri that I iron far less things these days. I stick things in the tumble tryer on the 'pre iron' programme I have and then fold them. Mr LL's shirts get ironed by an ironing service!!

I don't consider myself a lazy person, but when it comes to housework, well then, yes I am!!!
My utility room is a mess and I really need to sort it. I haven't done much housework whilst the weather was lovely as we spent most of the time outside. I will get my jobs sorted as I start a full time job in 3 weeks so I won't have much time then.
I love ironing!, last saturday I was actually waiting for the clothes to dry so I could iron them!

I must hoover out my car, my daughter has complained about a few little spiders setting up home in there, I should have done it a week ago.

Hiya cazzz ((((hugs))))

Now I know where to come to get my ironing done! You can come & do our car when you get around to doing yours!!! lol
When I worked lil123 I was so much more organised and managed to do more housework, etc. than I do now that I am at home. It is just so easy to get up, have a cuppa, watch some tele, go on AB, wander round the garden, play with the dogs, wander round the garden again, have another cuppa and some toast, play on the Nintendo, pop out and see a friend or a neighbour, make a telephone call...................... and so on!!

Its 16.30 and I have done sweet FA. I have put off doing everything today - it's all your fault jack daniels!!!!!
I hate cleaning the oven but mrthe is a
star and does it ...window cleaning ............
think I will have to pay a vision technician ....
as jd said the weather has been to nice to
be in the house ....
Well, my granny said that you shouldn't clean an oven because a well used and greasy oven makes the food taste better. So I believe her and follow her example!!!

LL did your gran smoke 50 fags a day
drink gin and live to be 100 years old ?
Ha, ha: No, but she always had a Guiness every day, was a bundle of energy and lived a long and active life. She worked until she was nearly 70, didn't give a jot about housework and was a really lovely person who welcomed everybody into her home and cooked like a dream. She also had a terrific sense of fun. So if I am even a little like her I am proud!!!

Glad to of been of help Lofty!
LL bet she was a lovely lady ..sounds as if
she was ...I think all the ads on the TV with
sparkling homes are rubbish ...a house
should be home ..a friend hates me visiting
not ..because it's dirty but it needs a revamp
but she has a disabled husband so things are
not easy for her ....

Nothing worse than visiting a home where everything is spick and span and it looks like an ideal home exhibit. It makes me feel very uncomfortable, and I also reckon if someone spends loads of time making it look like that then they seriously need help. Life's just too short to be forever dusting, cleaning and fluffing up cushions!!

Too much use of all these antibacterial products is causing problems now anyway. We need to expose ourselves to a bit of dust and dirt to build up our immune systems!!
Yeah, I just defrosted my fridge freezer!!!!!! Servis, four years old, playing up. freezer's working fine, fridge is warm.
My last fridge, my mother's, was still working perfectly when she got rid of it after 38 years.........is ANYTHING built to last nowadays?
No, we live in a throwaway society. Shame isn't it.
