I was married in Las Vegas last year (you can view my previous post) and have since seperated and would now like to get a divorce. I am aware that I have to wait a year for this to happen, however, I have recently found the marriage licence/affidavit and I have noticed that he has claimed that this is his first marriage despite being married and divorced in Canada a year or so previously. Would I be able to get an annulment on the grounds that he has lied on a sworn affidavit?

how sure are you that this guy has been married before? he would have no reason to lie unless he hasnt divorced the previous women? have you seen any proof?. seems a bit strange. best thing to do is talk to a solicitor.
