I once read somewhere that there was a pen you can buy to correct any mistakes you make in a crossword. Anyone know the name please? Marymint.

It's called a Pilot Frixion - 1.99. I have one and it works better the earlier you spot the mistake but it does work.
I have also used eraser.max, made by papermate - they come in various colours.
Tipp-Ex speedy is excellent. - and cute!

Many thanks. Marymint.
I use a little correction mouse you get them in Smiths - it puts a small piece of white correction tape over the error. Better than wet white correcting fluid!
Am I the only one that does them in pencil first then inks them in afterwards? Does it show if we're risk takers in general or not if we use pencil or pen? :-)

What a collection of positive answers. I'm torn between 'cute' and the sensible 'pencil'. I'll try pencil, but buy a cute Tipp Ex Speedy, have it on standby. (I'll have to have a look at this one, anyway, out of curiosity) Many thanks to all. Marymint.
I find that the best is "Pentel Micro Correct". It's results are like Tippex but application is very precise i.e. no brush just apply like fine-tipped pen thanks to its needle point. However I would never send in a crossword which has obviously been corrected in any way - I just assume it would be void. I copy the x-word using my printer before completion. Have never won a penny mind you, odds against must be massive but I keep trying. If you are going to submit, I think a lightly applied pencil, overwritten with a the old fine tipped black biro (yellow stem and black cap): Staples sell these in boxes of 20. Good Luck.
Better still, get it right first time lol
If it cost over a quid for an eraser pen, it maybe cheaper to buy another newspaper?
