i have a mondeo 18td x reg today the wipers came on by themselves done 1 wipe then smoke came from the wiper switch on the steering column now the wipers dont work
prev price on banging out a dent on rear bumper

sounds like the switch or wiring has shorted and burnt out, may have blown the fuse but putting a new fuse in without investigating the source of the smoke may cause futher problems
