and burnt ! to cinders ! Got a lot of clutter out of the way and bought quite a lot of things too including a beautiful crystal wedding dress for the cruise for a tenner but it is too big for me so I am going to advertise it for 50 in the free paper tomorrow !

Also managed to get lots of new chrome stuff for my new to be kitchen at a song and on top of that we made about 100.

At the end a man came over and gave me loads of his stuff that he wasnt able to sell and swore that he would never do a car boot again so I have got lots of stock for next week. He even gave me kids bikes, games that were still in cellophane and lots of books. One week I am going to concentrate simply on books as it seems the book folk make a fortune.

Happy days, hope you lot are all having a good one too.

Take Care.

Hi Tigger. Everything we make at the mo hun is for Tillys dollars for our trip to NY and Cruise and my gratitude is getting rid of all the CR*P that I have accumulated over the years since she was born.

The only thing I am mad with myself is is that I gave away suitcases and suitcases full of outsize clothes to folk and they have gone, gone, gone at a song for what I had left ! We are talking about multiple wardrobes of the stuff here !

Ahh Well. This car booting, I am getting addicted to it, its a scream and you get to meet lots of friendly folk too which is helpful since I am trying to combat the demons of alcohol at the weekends.

I have to say however, that when you do start booting hun, you will start to declutter even more stuff out of your house and just think...................it is ALL FREE MONEY !!!! Dont think about what you have paid for it in the first instance, remember that you had a good time with it and will never use it again.

Today we sold all Tillys "Make a things" i.e. Candy Floss machine, Mcflurry machine, slush maker, popcorn maker etc etc and those alone will gain her FIFTY dollars for our trip.

Just get rid !

You will be able to breathe again and dont worry about the dust, folk at boot sales LOVE dust on things, they think they are getting an antique for a bargain.

One tip however, NEVER get rid of any toys made by Casdon ! They are becoming quite the thing to keep hold of, ie. mini dysons, etc.

Actually I think I might start selling stuff on ebay first.
I did a car boot sale many years ago and made around 70. I was trying to sell a lovely lace woollen top, which cost me a lot, for 3. Some stupid woman wanted to give me 10p for it so I didn't sell it to her. I think it must be the area I live in.
I want to do a car boot sale, but alot of the stuff we have is for computers and so on so my fella doesnt want to sell it as 'it may be useful!'

When he finished his last contract, he was given 7 boxes, all brand new, and although I dont understand what they have in them, they could be sold for around 1000 each, yet he wont sell them as he says he may need them one day! grrrrrrrrrrr!!

i want to do a car boot sell my kids lol
My husband is exactly the same, he even keeps empty boxes for stuff we are actually using. Then he tells me that he is'nt a hoarder
