Anyway, enough with my life story now, what you do in life has consequences, but in this life only. The afterlife, I think they do not. There are WAY too many circumstantial factors in life that contribute to a person doing this or doing that, maybe "good," maybe "bad." That, and I believe in a "uni-lateral afterlife" (my own term). There is only one place people go when they die, and every person goes there. It's the only fair, objective way that the God I believe in can make decisions, esp as to where your consciousness (or soul I suppose) will reside. People become part of this streaming form of energy - the only one pure form of energy. As this happans, we will become part of God. We will become everything.

There will be no good or bad, no high or low, no up or down, no winner or no loser. These are just meanings that we as humans have been forced to attach to our daily lives; life as "we know it." Earth is "our" life, but it's not the true life. I think it safe to say that it will be entirely different; no one knows what it will be like. The above text (2 texts) is what I think it will be like (in a nutshell at least).
Sorry, but I noticed that I ended my story a little prematurely. The person who drove by the scene was the one who saved my life (his name is Mike M.). The adrenaline he had to have had surging through his body helped him actually lift the car up enough for my two friends to pull me from under it (I was in the car's backseat before it happened, and my two friends in the front seat, who were saved by the airbags, were running around like "chickens with their heads cut off," to quote what Mike told me. They were freaked out. And damn, there was such a low probability of someone driving past that scene at that exact moment (well, a 5 minute range at least), and that the person would be a pretty healthy, muscluar enough to do what he did. This happened over 8 years ago when I was still in high school. I have been, and will be, plagued with a question that I will never find an answer to: "why did it happen? Was it a "miracle" by "God," or was is it due to chance, good timing. I think my energy stream was pretty close to the One Energy stream, therefore I might've stood a better chance at being favored by chance. which sort of incorporates both of my hypotheses.

do you think energy has consciousness?

as there is a finite amount of energy in the universe is your god limited?

I'm sorry that I lack the motivation right now to address every point in your postings - I usually make a point of doing that, but on this occasion I just can't.

Anyway, congratulations on having your own view and your own ideas of everything. I think that Jesus used the 'sheep' metaphor advisedly.

If you are saying that God is the universe - the known and the unknown aspects - then why call it 'God'? - We already have a word for it, that word is 'universe', or 'cosmos', if you like. No need to use 'God' when talking about the cosmos.

The bits about pipelines of energy just lost me completely - but I'm sure that it has meaning for you.

I hope you recovered fully from your accident. Whether it was chance that saved you is debatable. You would have to trace back the series of causes and events that led you to the predicament, the series of causes and events that led your rescuer there, his life story, what led everything else to that point and see whether there was any 'unnecessary' event.

But if you go back far enough, you could say that all life on this planet is accidental and that therefore your accident and rescue were both the result of chance.

Whatever, you can justifiably call yourself 'lucky'. I would give some thought to those pipelines of energy, though, before you get called something else!! :-)

this answered your question yet 'davidgrey' ?

My opinion (bearing in mind that i haven't read everything posted before) is that god is just an excuse for what we can't even begin to contemplate! But thats just my opinion

To be honest, asto5,I didn't expect a definitive answer because like most issues relating to religion or personal beliefs, there is always a conundrum or an insoluble position to resolve. However it was fascinating to watch the discussion develop.

Cheers

God is the greatest power in the entire universe.he is the creator of all life.He sees and knows all things.he reads the hearts and minds of all living things.Nothing is hidden from god. but the best bit he has no favorites he loves us all the same regardless of what we think or do or have done. if we repent
