It took me a few weeks to realise that it wasn't just my local ASDA that had no fig rolls. I visited a local Sainsburys and was told that there is a worldwide shortage of figs. mostly due to the fires in Greece last summer. My perfect Sunday morning involves the Sunday crossword, a pack of Fig rolls( and maybe some nookie) but especially Fig rolls. How am I supposed to get through the next few weeks?

Ooh I love Fig rolls! I'm old enough to remember when Woolworths used to have a loose biscuit counter and you could buy them by the bag - they were bigger then!
You could always try jaffa cakes.
How do you know it's just going to be the next few weeks? It could be a lifetime!

don't fancy tomato ketchup crisps ( will ignore rest of answer!) Jaffa cakes don't really do it either. Tried Garibaldi's last week. My Grandma called them flies graveyards. which put me off. Is anyone familiar with a website called A nice cup of tea and a sitdown.com. brilliant
