motorhome fridge igniting

can anybody tell me how to know if the fridge has ignited on my electrolux rm 2262 fitted to my motorhome as i do not have any instructions on it and i cannot see any way that you can see when it is alight.
any help given would be very helpfull
by the way the fridge is 17 years old but in perfect working order.

Click on one of these to download the manual. The 2260 covers your 2262 as well.

Right, that didn't work. In the second box, put in rm2260. In the bottom box select English and it will come up with some downloadable links.

that link worked perfect and showed the operating instructions but i would still not know if the gas had lit because it has a manual gas igniter but there is no peep hole to see if the burner had actualy lit

Hi Roy,
If you have an Electrolux 3 way fridge(Gas/12volt/Mains Electric there is normally a see-through spy hole, about 1inch diam.,situated in the bottom left hand side of the fridge, inside the fridge. View through here from several angles-if alight, you should see flame. Feel the grey vent outside the van- should be warm after 15mins... good luck.

hi on my fridge in my motor home at the back of the fridge there is a little round glass and you ca see the pilot through that also you normally can hear it ignite my motor home is 22years old hope this is of some help

many thanks for your reply,you were right about the spy hole inside the fridge,i had only seen that from standing up and assumed that it was a drain of some sort untill i felt it and found that it was glass,ive made a right fool of myself,but thats down to getting old.
