Currently too close to call. A YouGov poll puts Boris 6 points ahead. Two others give Ken a 4-point and 2-point lead.

It's bizarre that people mock George W Bush and laugh at Americans for being stupid enough to vote him in, and here we are, one step away from electing Boris Johnson as London mayor.

Laughable.
I'd rather have him than Mad Ken
Boris Boris Boris

He's breathing some fresh air into what can only be described as the dullest age of British politics for many a year
Boris Boris Boris!!!!
It has got to be Boris.
I like him.
The latest opinion polls are very close but seem to show Boris with a slight lead.

It is clear that Labour will receive a drubbing at the polls today. Labour will cite it is mid term and the incumbent government always does badly. Cameron will take the Tories good results of proof that the voters like his new party when in fact they are voting on the downturn of the economy which is largely the result of factors out of Browns control.

The LibDems will fail to make any significant breakthroughs and Clegg's leadership will be questioned.

The BNP will sadly increase their vote nationally.
I kind of hope Boris does win.

As a non-Londoner it'll be quite fun to sit back and laugh and say "I told you so"

Let's face it he doesn't have a great track record as a safe pair of hands!

You'd have thought it would be an open goal for the Lib Dems this year - Somethings wrong there - don't know if it's the leadership or just a fundamental lack of charisma but if they can't perform this year in a "best of two evils" contest they might as well give up
Yawn
Boris? He's the guvnor! Anyone who can pi55 off the whinning scousers get's my vote!
When I was at uni, I'd scrabble round for coins and then treat myself to a night out at the student union, drinking 1-a-pint watery lager in battered old trainers and torn jeans.

Whereas Boris...

The outfit alone cost 3,000. He's a man of the people alright.
Brown not responsible for the downturnm of the economy, dont make me laugh. If you bleed everyone dry with taxes for ten years and use it to fund a huge army of civil servants who produce nothing but red tape to strangle those that do contribute to the GDP that is trashing the economy.

You reap what you sow, McBottle is now finding that out.

Open your eyes.
