I am trying to obtain a copy of the Teachers' Notes for the excellent Yorkshire TV Children's History Programme called How We Used To Live (1936-1953), no longer available. Does anyone know where I can find them or has a set that I could copy? Thank you. I have managed to obtain a copy of the original videos on Ebay.

A quick web search for this title shows that many local education authorities list the series as available from their library service or educational resources unit, so it might be worth checking with your local LEA to see if you can borrow the notes to copy them. (Try the Resources Unit or the Social Studies Advisor).

Otherwise, you might have to order from Canada:

Thank you for your answer Chris. I remember the book for which you give a link. It is by the same writer as the tv series, and covers some of the same topics, but does not include photocopiable activities or follow ups. Thank you for your kind suggestions though. Didn't think of asking my LEA but a good idea!
