I was in a shop the other day and there was a kid screaming so loud the shop assistant had to ask the mother to leave.

How do screaming kids not hurt their throats? If I screamed like that I would have a sore throat for days.

Why can't big stores have playrooms, where you can check your kids in while you shop and collect them on the way out. It would save all that wasted energy from both parent and child screaming at each other and annoying all the other people in the supermarket?
