Try googling Herschel's Perpetual Calendar.

It looks a bit complicated, but I think it works.
Double click on the time in the taskbar, then change the date. Just don't click apply.
You could open the system clock and change the date (without applying the change!) to read off the relevant calendar. This method is limited to years 1980-2099 in XP.

You need a decent OS like linux.

just type

cal yyyy

yyyy=year
or you could just use the link i put there ^^^^^

oh my bad... 14th september 1752 is the furthest it will go
its a thursday :-D
...that would be due to the change from Julian to Gregorian calendar

The church year used to start 25th march (lady day) and that was the new year's day, that is why when researching Parish Records around this time you should not jump to the wrong comclusions about marriage and baptism dates!!!
