Hi - have just found out that my lovely friend was diagnosed as a coeliac - allergic to gluten and wheat.
She is visiting me next week and I would like to give her a nice meal.

Any recipes - I know her stuff has to be bought in a health shop or something like that. Thanks

You can do a search for 'wheat free' on

and there are lots of ideas. Hope it all turns out OK!
Most supermarkets do a good range of Gluten free foods and often state allergy advice on the packaging. So it's not necessary to go to a health food shop. Rice and potato meals are fine, any fresh fruit and vegetables, yoghurt and most ice cream is ok. just avoid pastry, pasta, bread and anything with flour. Just make sure you check the ingredients list and avoid if it says wheat, barley or rye. Good luck
