Are local food retail businesses being affected by the banning of GM foods by larger multi-national food retailer?

Home grown GM crops are still at the trial stage here in Britain so GM foods in the retail food supply chain are likely to have been imported in the first instance. Price and volume is probably a much bigger factor in the squeezing out of smaller local suppliers than GM. For loads of stuff on GM visit the government websites and look under the ministry of agricultre.
