No I haven't but I will give it a try. Thnx Mullein
I know its not eye shadow, but i've been told that using blue mascara on the underneath eyelashes helps bring out blue eyes as it reflects therefore making your eyes look bluer! I reckon it works... Also i find goldy eyeshadows work pretty nicely, as they compliment the colour
Eggcup5 go for the opposite colour of your eyes this draws more attention to them and makes them stand out alot more if you use a different colour to your actual eyes. when i use to do make up lessons and applications loads of women with bronw eyes go for brown which is what they called 'safe' but in actual fact made there eyes look more tired and and hidden. A contrasting colour for green or blue is rusty brick colour or a bronze or gold, they look lovely and really suit this eye colour as for browns, lilac or purple is better for making them stand out. I would only suggest brown for blending or shading not to use al over the eye, though when i was younger i used to do this too till i became a trained therapist. Anyway hope this helps a bit
I have blue/green eyes and use green glimmer from no 7 range. It's a metallic green which really stands out and looks great!

I have blue eyes & always use a browny eye shadow & brown/black mascara. Both compliment my eyes.

(I've never been keen on blue eyeshadow).

I have blue eyes and I always use greens and purples, they seem to be the most striking
I also have blue/green eyes and would say you should stay away from blue/green eyeshadow as it "drowns" your eyes. I'd say browns, golds and creams are best.

Blue will make them look greener and green will make them look bluer.

whites and pinks and silvers are also nice

Thought i might get at least one person defending the good old brown eye shadow lol

on tues morning i had a makeover at my debenhams clinique counter. i have blue/grey eyes and she used a silver shimmer all over my eye lid and up to the brow then a sparkly purple on 3/4 across the lid and just under my eye then the rest of the lid she did a lilac colour - it really brought the blue out in my eyes even though mine are a darker colour. so for blue/green eyes it should work just as well.

If you have blue eyes you should use brown/gold eveshadow/liner. And vice-versa.

xx

Lavendar really does it well... though it is sort-of a 1980s colour.  The trick is to apply it to your eyelids and then only 1/3 of the way up to your eyebrows.  Applying all the way up to your eyebrows, or even halfway, just attracts attention to the shadow rather than to your irises.  I am surprised people have said brown, I don't think brown does it at all !!!  Hmm.
