You seem to have had a gremlin which has corrupted your Question, but i think you are asking about joe Brown - Sam's father.

Joe was, and is, a musician. He had a number of hits in the 1960's with his group Joe Brown And the Bruvvers, this was well before East Enders, so anyone who talked with a regional accent was considered a bit of a novelty. Joe still tours regulalry on the nostalgia circuit.

He's on a UK tour at the moment.  He's a guitarist, singer, songwriter and one of the nicest blokes I have ever met.
