Tizzy,

The original score of Ravel's Bolero is for 2 flutes a piccolo, 2 oboes, oboe d'amore, cor anglais, 2 clarinets, E-flat clarinet, bass clarinet, 2 bassoons and contrabassoon, 2 saxophones, 4 horns, 4 trumpets, 3 trombones and tuba, timpani, 2 snare drums, cymbals, tam-tam, celesta, harp, and strings, so between 60 and 80 depending on the size of the string section.
