A friend of mine paid for a year's subscription of Nero on-line. Her computer crashed a few weeks afterwards and she had to change her e-mail address. She has no record of the Nero serial number, or of the on-line purchase. Is there any way that she can retrieve her Nero product without having to pay any extra?

Email their customer support people stating the facts. Give them the old email address, although make it clear you're using the new one, tell them you can quote the card number used to buy it and if she had to put her address in then include that as well.

At the best, they'll email back and ask for the card number, at worst she'll have to shell out for another copy or find another CD burning program on the internet for free.

Nero free version does just about everything the payware version does anyway
If the crash only required a recovery and not a reformat d/l this and let it run.

Also handy for office/windows keys and other various bits of info.
If it's not listed there then follow Cakeboys advice or to save the hassle go here

and enter nero and version No. Worth a try.
