Telly problem

We bought a flat screen telly but every 20 minutes or so when someone is talking on the telly the sound isnt in sync with whoever is talking, anyone know why this is happening?

That happens to me sometimes on Freeview channels. I find that if I flick to a different channel and then back to the one I was watching, it sorts itself out.

Tried that and it still does it, someone at work said to try it just on "ordinary telly" and see if it works ok that way, would miss the freeview box though! thanks for your reply.
Sorry I don't know the reason why but we've noticed another odd thing. If we switch on our Hi Fi to Radio 3 and also switch on to Radio 3 on our digital TV at the same time, the two sounds do not synchronise..
Maybe your ears are out of sinc
There is a delay in recieving a digital signal. If your TV is Freeviiew or Sky and he HiFi is analogue and not DAB then there will be a slight mismatch.
TV on analogue and the Hi FI together should be in synch.
