Help please
Susannah 20 yrs married James Keegan 26 yrs in Dec 1894. Christ Church Southwark.
On the marriage certificate her father was named as Alfred James Bright deceased.
Only found 1 Susannah Emily, 1875 and her father was Henry Arthur, although his father was James.
As Henry died when S.E. was 4 or 5, could James have taken over looking after them?
S.E. was born in Islington, and in 1881 census she and her younger brother Henry are living with her widowed mother.
Also on the certificate James's occupation was a provisions dealer, and when Henry married in 1871 he too was a provisions dealer.
Any help would be very appreciated.

in 1881 are they living at 3 james cottage chatham? cos there is a John Bright aged 17, listed as a brother there, which makes me curious, is that really a brother-in-law to caroline bright, the widow?
Have I got the same family you mean?
in 1871, willow walk Bermonsey, Henry Bright 25, waterside labourer born walworth surrey, caroline 20, wife b st georr southwark, son henry willm 6 mths b newington surrey, this looks like the same family cos of caroline's age. I wonder if the baby on that entry henry willm, did in infancy?
mmmm can;t work this out, the caroline bright from the second family had a son alfred, and a daughter caroline too. they lived in southwark. Not found another alfred either.

Thank you for your answers. This last week I have been through 1870 to 1880 looking for another S.E. born, but the only one I can find, is the one I already have, and her father is Henry!!
If family history was easy, then perhaps it would not be as much fun?
Thanks again
