I would like to do an on line course such as IBT. I have the very basics of computing but would like to do a bit more. I don't have time to do an evening class, work shifts means I miss ever alernate week!!!  I really want to study at home. Can anyone suggest anything

Don't know what IBT is but you could try Learn direct - I went with them a while ago - you have to register at one of their centres but after that you can do it all at home (if you have broadband).

Their course are very cheap / free and they are not just the basics.
