Then check the airlines WEB Site.

Oh ...and also avoid T5 at the moment :-)

Depends on what's in it.

It can go in the hold anyway.

If it has no objectionable items in it it can be your hand luggage.

It depends how big it is and what it contains - I didn't think you were allowed to transport consumables?

If your cool bag/box is within the size limits for your airline's cabin bag allowance, then there's nothing to stop you taking it as hand baggage. (See your airline's web pages for permitted dimensions). The 100ml limit on liquids will still apply.
I know a couple who do this when they holiday in the Caribbean each year, and it's a very handy thing to have for days spent at the beach.
