Iam getting obscure now- heard it years ago on whispering Bob Harris show - A song that featured Ronnie Spector singing Be My Baby as part of the song ! 'And Ronnie sang, 'be my, be my , be my little baby'

Not that obscure Daz! Be My Baby's by The Ronettes and should be available on various compilation albums, though any Phil Spector ones should do the trick. The lyrics, should you want them, are here > http://lyrics.coolfreepages.com/Lyrics/1963/21963.

Not obscure dazmac, but certainly a little way back if you're talking about 'The Old Grey Whistle Test!' The song is called "Be My Baby" by the Ronettes.Just had a look in the Guinness Book of Hit Singles and it got to number 4 on 17th October 1963.
