have a cdrw hardware and driver but no burning software any free stuff?

I have been given a microsolutions backpack cd-rewriter. I have down loaded the driver but need to find some software to enable me to burn stuff to the disc....has anyone any suggestions of software (free) that would be compatible. ...thanks.

Windows Media Player 9 has a cd burning programme on it, and it's free.
