Hi, going with boyfriend to Inverness and in desperate need of private holiday accomodation over there. I say private because we don't want to share our room in say, a youth hostel.

Any suggestions will be much appreciated.

You say private holiday accomodation, are you talking hotels or something more personal, like a caravan, private cabin, etc, etc??
Just thought i'd say that if it's a hotel you are looking for, then a decent enough one is the Royal Highland Hotel, which is situated at the train station (pretty much in the centre of town).

Dear Mr Bounty and Senga 2

Thank you for your replies. After all my enthusiasm Mr Checketts said that he has a meeting on one of those days and can't make it.

To be honest I don't think he likes the idea of me organising anything nice for us as he always wants to be in charge of it all...hell, why did I bother.

I visited the tourist information website that Senga mentioned and it is really good. I had managed to find a family room for 200 for the whole period! Luckly I didn't book it otherwise it would've been more of my money in the bin.

I hope you all had a good Easter.
