Hey Daffy ! I went to the bank in St Annes Square to pay a mortgage this morning. Went into Lytham Square and picked up a few bargains.

Seemingly a local criminal solicitor who practices in Blackpool has a wife who is a size 6 - 7 (just lower than an 8 and not an age 6 - 7) lol.

Picked up the dress she wore for the Law Society Dinner Party apparently, White with black netting over it. I am not much into designer names but it is a NIKI LIVAS ?????????????????? I bought it for Tilly and will alter it accordingly.

Lady in Charity Shop said it was 400 but Mrs. Solicitor could never wear it again because it had a teeeeeeeeny hole in the netting at the back (a fag burn).

I paid 350 for it !

THREE POUNDS FIFTY PENCE. that is.

I was thinking of you and your woman in the playground and pmpl.

I have bought some absolute bargains at those charity shops! Well done you. Avoid the British Heart Foundation shop in St Annes square though as they charge the earth for stuff that isn't that good. You can buy new stuff cheaper in New Look.
wow you paid 3.50 for it!! thats mad, hmm maybe I should go to charity shops!!!
The charity shops in St Annes and Lytham are crazy, because the area is full of really rich people who will only wear things once you can pop in and buy almost brand new designer gear for a couple of quid. I'm not ashamed to admit to shopping in charity shops!!!
Are there any of these kind of shops in Manchester?
Try the really affluent areas of the city SKA I bet there will be some there! City centre shops tend to be a bit rubbish for decent stuff.
ok cool next time i can be bothered I'll jump on a bus in the disbury area oh or chedle (oops i cant spell) and have alook around there!!
I used to work in Ascoyt and bought nearly all my clothes in the charity shop and most of them were designer. Unfortunately wear I live now the charity shop clothes are rubbish and they charge a fortune for them.
Sorry - Ascot!

Oh and I bought (for myself) for the casual nights on the Cruise we are going on (which states, Cocktail Dress or Smart Trouser Suit) a maroon (with silvery glittery bits in it) AMBIENCE (again I question the 'designer' name as I havent a clue) Fitted Trouser Suit. It is currently a size too small for me but I will have lost another 2 stones by September. It was a bit more expensive though (but has NEVER been worn. The trousers were 2.50 and the jacket, fitted, to the knee was 3.50 and then I bought 10 head bands with sparkles on them for Tillys Birthday party for 5p each.

A TENNER WELL SPENT (including Tillys size 6 - 7 Dress!).

All in a good cause too !
