Since I can't stand the piano slapping little mongrel, who did the original version of 'Everlasting Love' from the new Bridget Jones film? I should know and it's really bugging me!

If it "This year's love had better last, Heaven knows it's high tim...."  It's Daniel Beddingfield.  Do you know any lyrics?
Googled it and it could be Andy Gibb, U2, Gloria Estefan
Or Carl Carlton

natalie_1982 - You're first answer!?!?!?!?!

First of all, the lyrics you wrote have nothing to do with 'Everlasting Love' and second of all Daniel Beddingfield does not sing 'This Year's Love' its David Gray!

simonella - Unsure of the original artist if 'Everlasting Love' but its bugging me too! I'm sure if you do a google check or try it in an mp3 download you'll find it

I meant David Gray!?!?!?!!?!?!??!!  It was an accident?!?!?!!??!?!?!!!?!????????????!

!!!!!?!?!?!?!

Original by Robert Knight in the US (most famous in the UK for his re-released Love on a Mountain Top in 1973), but most famous UK version by the Love Affair with Stevie Ellis - no.1 in 1968.
'Everlasting Love' was originally a Number One hit in 1968 for Love Affair.
argh - cross in post!

love affair   definite
