How nice is it to have none of what you say ackowledged? lol
Nevermind.
Eh?
yup i agree with you on this one ice.

and dabees, i certainly think that the usa are limbering up for war with iran and britain will be there to help them.

it's been the aim for the usa to have controle of all the natural resourses in that area since the late 40's and it looks like we're goin to help them get it.
I'm sure i saw Louisa mention your name more than once Max....

Stop being a drama queen. ;-)

Ice the fact is this poor lad is not in his own country, he is here in the UK. His boyfriend was tortured and under torture gave up the name of his lover. If this young lad goes back to Iran which is what the British government intend to do then he will face execution for simply being gay. I just feel it's wrong that a young 19 year old with all his life ahead of him can be executed for being gay. At the end of the day he is someones son, he's committed no crime. It's truly heartbreaking.
Drama queen,me, Dabs? You should know better hun! lol
Anyway, I don't want to take part in this as I think it's just hopeless. If everyone knew the truth, there'd be no politics.
i didn't know the story louisa.

i thought that our government would not send anyone back to a country if they know they are to be executed?
Question Author
I thought so as well perigra, but it seems to be the case.

Max honey i'm sorry if i offended you i truly do appreciate you signing the petition, every name helps. xxx
Do petitions actually ever work though?

Who takes notice of them?

And a load of random internet people signing them...will the people responsible care?

I know you mean well Louisa, but sometimes, we can't win them all, sad as that sounds :o(

Princess it's a chance we have to take. I'm a mother and if i thought signing a petition would help someone elses child then i would gladly do it.

Don't know if it will help but it's worth a try.
Louisa, don't worry hun, you didn't offend me! It is quite interesting though to see how different people's reasons can be for doing something. :O)
It IS worth a try, it truly is. I just wish more attention was given to petitions.

It's great they you're doing all you can, I guess, don't give up hope but at the same time, be realistic, cos otherwise we get more upset *hugs*
A lot of fuss over a gay arab.

Is there a similar petition to have him deported, I would gladly sign that.
