how do you make popadoms instead of buying ready made ones

Poppadom is impossible to make at home. It never works out right as the process and ingredients are many. So stick to buying it. My (indian) mother tried it many times but the results were not worthit. very few housewives in india make it. It almost always purchased from the shops in India

How do the shops make them then?  or do they buy them in with the intenton of selling them on?  Maybe the ones in shops, sold as ready made, are actually made in someones home??

Wouldnt that be ironic!
